Journaling in 3 ways by Jedi Steve

When I first started writing a book with the world I came across lots of people that could benefit from writing that said they were not writers. I agree that we all don’t need to be writers but I do believe that most of us can benefit from different ways of expressing. When I discovered this I asked myself what is writing in today’s world? When I first started writing a book with the world I came across lots of people that could benefit from writing that said they were not writers. I agree that we all don’t need to be writers but I do believe that most of us can benefit from different ways of expressing. When I discovered this I asked myself what is writing in today’s world? Which lead to this post about journaling in 3 ways; Traditional Journaling-Taking time to put your thoughts down on paper without editing and just letting the ideas and concepts flow naturally. When we tap into our imaginations it is important to avoid worry about making mistakes or being perfect because this perfection leads to doubt and doubt lead to more mistakes. There will always be room for editing down the road but the truth is that most of our journaling rarely makes it out of the journal. While you use your journal let your ideas and concepts flow freely on paper. Walking Journaling- Using walking journaling in the beginning can be a stretch. Trust me it is very important because most of our good ideas rarely leave our head because most ideas need organic movement in the beginning to manifest. This is what I do, I start with a concept at the beginning, middle or end of a walk and see how it unfolds. I like to end the walk with some simple goals that I can make happen or let happen making it a point to feel my way through problems to solutions. Seated Journaling- I like to do this in coffee shops, in natural or right in the middle of downtown where things are happening all around me. Most of us never take a moment to stop and contemplate life or to strategize to come up with a timely solution and/or result. What problems are you struggling with that need a solution? I believe that a problem cannot exist without a solution, take a few minutes to sit and think about, what is missing in your life? And what you would like more of? Have fun with this and make it your own. This coupled with using Our imagination, Being creative and a little raw guidance can really help the ideas and concepts flow.
